Great discussion of PM Tools. I’ve been beta testing it for several months and the lifesaver (or marriage-saver) features are worth it all by themselves. I agree that Don V. is very interested in new tools that can be added to the program; for example, with everyone having cell phones and email addresses, one listing per customer household doesn’t work too well any more, so I suggested that he add a feature to duplicate an existing customer, so we can just change the first name, cell and email – it was done and it’s now a part of the copy-to function. Another feature that is in development is like the “change tracking number” and that will change the tender type for POS transactions (if you mistakenly rang a transaction as cash instead of a credit card); that will make the end of day settlement much easier. It’s a great program.
