home page picture

Hi Patrick,
 
We have uploaded our picture we took of our store to post on the mydigitaldoorman.com page and it won’t come up. Any ideas?

    Yes, indeed.

    The issue is that the photo is too large. Newer digital cameras take nice pictures with a lot of mega-pixels, which is great for blowing up your shots but it is really overkill most of the time. This is one of those times. You have two choices:

    1. Shrink your photo size down to something under 500k using your favorite photo software…or Go here:

    http://www.shrinkpictures.com/

    If you are unsure how to do this yourself. (on this site just shrink to 600 pixels wide)

    2. You could change the settings in your camera and take the picture again.

    If you are truly stumped on this you may email Support the picture as an attachment with a note and we will shrink it and email it back in a few days.
