I suppose what you are asking me is :

"can we make the Notes 2/tracking Field show up on the Package tag?"

The answer is: "Sure, Why not?"

I just added that field, in small text, to the bottom of the package tag.

Thanks for the suggestion! I nope that helps.

I use this program pretty often at my location. Sometimes I'll end up scanning over 10 packages at once (using multi) however at times one of my box holder will get multiple boxes.

When it comes time to print the sticker labels for these boxes, it sometimes becomes a chore to have to determine which sticker goes on which specific box if one box number has multiple packages(since each barcode is linked to the original package's tracking number)

There is no information on the sticker label other than box number, name, and date so I would constantly have to match that with the signature slip to see which box to place these stickers.

This is usually easy if , lets say, they have 2 packages and one is a pak and the other is a box. However if they are both boxes, or if there are even MORE boxes above those, the sticker label doesn't tell me which box it belongs to.

Hope this makes sense.

Just added MetroPCS

Trac phone is a bit trickier. Here is a link that should give you the info you need, but I have no way of testing it yet. Let me know how it works and I'll make it a permanent part of the list.

I was able to set up the text messaging syntax for most of my mailbox holders who just receive messages via text vs email. I have 2 cell phone carriers that are not on your list: Tracphone, and MetroPCS. Could you add these two providers to your reference list?

Thanks!

To re-print a label for a package that you have already entered into the system you must do the following:

1. in the "Search Package Recipients" field on the main screen look up the name or box number that the package was logged in for and click "search".

2. Once you have found that recipient in the results section below, click the "View Packages" button which looks like a package with a magifying glass.

3. once on the "View Packages" screen, find the package you need to re-print and click the "Print Label" which looks like a printer.

4. Click the "print Labels button on the pop-up that appears, as normal.

I just finished setting up all of my mailboxes, and scanned in 5 packages for one of the boxholders. The labels printed incorrectly, after which I installed the Zebra printer driver, per your video.

Now, how do I re-print the labels for the packages I already scanned in?

That is a great question. Currently we are only able to do that when MDD uploads a database of customers for you. As an MDD location you can send individual welcome emails by clicking the "Account Info" button for each recipient and then click the "Re-send welcome email (resets password)" link. You can also do this as you add each package recipient into MDD. We are working on a feature that will automatically re-send the welcome email whenever a package recipients email address has been modified.

MyDigitalDoorman is designed to function on IE7 or higher. The issue of not being able to Delete package recipients is a known issue with IE6 and perhaps another browser. You have a few options; You could continue to use it with the browser you have on that computer now and delete customers from another machine, or you can upgrade your browser to IE7 or IE8.

Some of our customers love Firefox, some are now addicted to Chrome, and some like the older versions of Internet Explorer. There is nothing wrong with using these browsers with MDD, but remember that we cannot beta test every feature with every browser. While other browsers may work for the most part, as of this time we can only support IE7 or IE8.

Good question. You are not doing anything wrong. MDD requires that each package recipient (or mailbox holder) has a unique user name. The system will auto create one for you using your URL plus the unit number. In your case that is your URL "SDC" plus the customers mailbox number of "140". Thus : "SDC140"

However, since you can create ANY username you like for your package recipients (and sometimes they create their own) someone has already chosen "SDC140". So when the system auto-generated this username, it was already invalid.

The fix is an easy one, simply choose anther username. If the customer is reachable, ask them to pick their own. If you can't or don't want to do this you can make up anything you like. How about. SDC140A, or SDC1140, or just use their last name SMITH140
